I thought I'd share this little clip of my dog, Brutus, entertaining us. He is a clown and he will keep it going as long as someone is laughing. He just ain't right - but we love him anyway. I apologize for the cruddy clip, but for some strange reason I don't have a DV video cam (probably the price). This was recorded on my digital camera with no sound. It's too bad about the sound - that's the best part. So for your full enjoyment you have to keep chanting “Go Brute! Go Brute! Go Brute!...” while...
Thanks to Rory's post about his NeoWikiDiki , I got to play around with FlexWiki and little and I ended up implementing it as an internal tool for our team. I'm really not much on Wiki's - I didn't think they had much real-world use. I have changed my mind a little bit - they do have a few real world uses. Yesterday we were having a Dev Team meeting (for the first time in forever) and we were discussing the need to share some of our project/client/site notes among the team. We are a geographically...
Well, I took Michael Eaton's advice from his comment to a post I made a few days ago and downloaded and installed SpamBayes . It has only been about an hour since I did so, but I am pleased so far. Thanks for the advice, Michael! Share this post: email it! | bookmark it! | digg it! | kick it! | live it!
(this comment is in reference to Paul's post . I would have left it there, but it started getting long and I decided I probably wanted it posted here.) Paul, Though I haven't tried the WilsonORMapper, I am a long time reader and subscriber, and I keep saying that I will take some time to give it a try - soon! I did want to let you know that I am in a similar boat. In the past I developed two products, Intranet Open Source and Newsletter Open Source, both written in ASP. At the time, based on my experience...
Dan, make sure that you come back and re-read this article once Community Server has been officially released. Looks like some good info. (via RoudyBob ) Hey, I know the CS RC is out, but have I mentioned before that I'm not one for messing around with beta and pre-release software. Hell, I usually wait until a Microsoft Service Pack has been out for at least two weeks, if not more, before installing it on my systems. If there are any serious bugs (like causing an OS crash in the middle of the upgrade...
I watched Rory and the crew's Caesar's 24/7 episode last night on A&E and it was hilarious. It was worth wading through the other 53 minutes of crap and commercials to see their piece. Freakin' hilarious. I've you've ever been out with a bunch of your nerd friends checkin' out the babes (and I know you have!), you'll appreciate this. It looks like it will be on a few more times - additional dates/times are highlighted in his post. You may even want to Tivo this one and save it for future laughs...
Today's lunch was a can of Starkist Chunk White Tuna (packed in water) mixed with a teaspoon of Grey Poupon mustard and a diced baby sweet pickle on two slices of Weight Watchers Whole Wheat bread. Damn sad state of affairs I've gotten myself into. No matter how much I bitch, though, I'd feel guilty if I ate something not so good for me. It's all toward a good end. Ten years of desk-jockeying has left my body in not so good shape. I think it took about a year before it started having an affect, about...
